Creative Group Employees Share Their Dream Destinations and Experiences
Every unforgettable incentive trip begins with a dream—an image of where curiosity might take you next. At Creative Group, our team spends every day turning those dreams into reality for others. But what if the tables were turned? We asked employees across departments to share their dream destinations—the places that inspire, energize, and reimagine what “reward” can look like.
The answers told a story of adventure, renewal, and inspiration. Some imagined faraway beaches, others envisioned cultural immersion or once-in-a-lifetime landmarks. But together, they reflect what we know to be true: the best incentive experiences aren’t just about where you go, but how those places make you feel. At Creative Group, that’s what we design for: moments that awaken wonder, spark connection, and remind people why these experiences matter.
Adventure to the Ends of the Earth
Kate Jacobson, Manager of Technology Solutions, was ready for this question with a bucket-list dream that’s pure adventure: a cruise from Ushuaia, Argentina, down to Antarctica. She’s drawn to the idea of visiting one of the few places on Earth still completely ruled by nature.
“It can either be Drake Lake or Drake Shake, depending on your luck. I think I’d secretly love the drama of it.”
For Kate, the journey is part of the allure. She’d start in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, then cross the Drake Passage before exploring by zodiac boat, visiting penguin colonies, and sending a postcard from Port Lockroy—the southernmost post office on Earth. She’s captivated by the idea of setting foot on the world’s least-visited continent, where scale and stillness redefine perspective.
(Fun fact: Antarctica can only be visited during the austral summer, November through March, when daylight stretches nearly around the clock and wildlife is at its peak.)
Stillness in the Spanish Pyrenees
Because Senior Account Operations Manager Michal Skalski has spent his entire life in big cities, he’s long been drawn to the charm of smaller towns, especially those nestled in the European countryside.
“My dream would be to escape to a quiet, rural destination, surrounded by nature and local culture.”
His dream getaway would take him off the beaten path to a quiet, rural destination surrounded by nature and authentic local life. Recently, he discovered Canfranc Estación, a historic hotel hidden in the Pyrenees of Spain. Once a grand railway station, it now blends Michal’s love of architecture, transportation, and timeless design—all set against the serenity of the mountains.
A Tuscan Promise
Senior Program Manager Jennifer Spiekhout has long imagined her dream incentive experience in Tuscany and Florence, Italy.
“The combination of rolling vineyards, charming hilltop towns, and the art and culture of Florence offers the perfect balance of relaxation and inspiration.”
Her love for Tuscany began years ago after watching Under the Tuscan Sun. “The region embodies everything I love—slow mornings, incredible food, and breathtaking views.” She dreams of sharing it with her husband and daughters, of driving a vintage car through the hills, taking Italian cooking classes paired with local wines, and wandering Florence’s art-filled streets.
She’d plan her trip for early June or September, when the hills are lush and the days are long—perfect for vineyard visits, dining al fresco, and soaking up everything Tuscany and Florence have to offer.
Greek Island Escape
Account Executive Jennifer Barker has her sights set on a milestone birthday in 2026—though she’s keeping the number a secret. For her, the ultimate celebration would be a journey through the Greek Islands, a destination that’s long held a spot on her bucket list.
She’s especially drawn to the smaller Cyclades Islands, where whitewashed villages overlook turquoise seas and time seems to slow down. Jennifer would plan her getaway for June or September, just outside the busy summer season, to savor the sunshine, unwind on quiet beaches, and explore at her own pace.
Wonder Between Worlds
Senior Creative Communications & Proposals Manager Molly Jackson-Schultz dreams big when it comes to experiences—seeking dream destinations that feel almost out of reach. Two rise to the top of her list: Egypt and Tibet.
Her fascination with Egypt began in childhood. “A single classroom unit sparked an obsession,” she recalls. “I spent weeks at the library, checking out books, taking notes, and diving deep into ancient stories and symbols.” Tibet draws her for different reasons.
“Something about the imagery of the temples with their hand-carved woodwork, mixed with the prayer flags flying in the wind, up in the mountains? I mean… does it get more stunning than that?”
For Molly, both destinations represent what she loves most about travel: the chance to learn, to feel awe, and to step into worlds completely unlike her own.
Driven by Passion
Help Desk Specialist Will Dobbins already knows exactly where he’d go if he earned an individual travel incentive: the Nürburgring in Germany, one of the most iconic racetracks in the world.
“It’s not just a track—it’s a destination filled with history, adrenaline, and beautiful scenery.”
For Will, this legendary circuit—nicknamed the Green Hell—has been a dream since childhood. “I’ve always wanted to experience it in person,” he says, “whether as a passenger on a hot lap or even driving a rental car on the ‘Green Hell’ myself.” Over the years, he’s watched countless videos of supercars on its turns and followed major racing events like the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
The combination of high-speed thrill and the surrounding Eifel Mountains makes it, in his words, “a mix between motorsport heaven and a peaceful German getaway.” Beyond the excitement, the Nürburgring carries personal meaning—it represents pushing limits and celebrating passion, values that resonate both on and off the track.
Connection in New Zealand
Senior Experience Design & Sourcing Manager Kai Tokuyawa doesn’t hesitate when asked about dream destinations: New Zealand. “It’s a place that calls you back no matter how many adventures you’ve had,” Kai says.
During a two-month sabbatical, she and her husband embraced van life—slowing down to reconnect with the world and with each other. “It’s rare to truly unplug,” she reflects, “to trade everyday pressures for quiet moments, open skies, and endless beauty.”
“Those are the kinds of moments we strive to create for our clients—the ones that happen organically when you put the phone down and connect with the people around you.”
She dreams of returning with her son to show him what it means to be a kind-hearted, mindful traveler. “We may skip the Mordor hike this time,” Kai jokes, “but seeing this extraordinary place through his eyes will make it even more magical.”
Serenity in the Maldives
Account Executive Nickolai Mathison jumped right into the you-earned-an-incentive-trip scenario with enthusiasm: “Yeah, I am a WINNER! And I get to go to the Maldives!”
He’s drawn to the islands for their romantic, otherworldly beauty. Each tiny island is just big enough for a few bungalows, offering an unmatched sense of privacy and calm. During the dry season (November through April), he imagines warm sunshine, clear skies, and crystal-blue water perfect for snorkeling or diving among vibrant marine life.
Even the journey there adds to the magic—arriving by floatplane from the main airport, which sits atop an artificial reef large enough to land jets. For Nickolai, the Maldives is the ultimate reward: serene yet full of discovery, balancing pure relaxation with just the right touch of adventure.
Closing Reflection
Across continents and climates, these dream destinations share a common thread: each one celebrates curiosity, creativity, and connection—the same forces that drive the experiences we design every day.
At Creative Group, the event or the trip is not just about the place, it’s about the experience and what it brings out in people. From adrenaline-filled circuits to still waters and star-filled skies, each journey is a reminder that reward is most powerful when it feels personal, purposeful, and full of heart.
